Wyatt Omsberg is a former professional soccer player from Scarborough Maine who played as a center-back in Major League Soccer (MLS). Standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, Omsberg was known for his aerial dominance, defensive composure, and disciplined presence on the backline. He attended Scarborough High School, leading the Red Storm to back-to-back Class A State Championships in 2012 and 2013, and he was the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2014 following a dominant senior season where he posted 19 goals and 12 assists. He was selected by the Maine Soccer Coaches as a United Soccer Coaches All-American and All-New England player in 2014, as well as a Maine Soccer Coaches Western Maine State Team and Regional Class A All-Star in 2013 and 2014. He attended Dartmouth College from 2014 to 2017, establishing himself as one of the elite defenders in NCAA Division I soccer. While at Dartmouth he led his team to four consecutive Ivy Championships, and was selected as the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017. and was a three time First Team All-Ivy selection in 2015, 2016, 2017. He was also a third team United Soccer Coaches All-American in 2016.

He was drafted by Minnesota United of the MLS in the first round in 2018, and played for 7 seasons with Minnesota, the Chicago Fire, and the New England Revolution. Selected 15th overall making history as the first Ivy League player ever drafted in the first round of the MLS SuperDraft. He made his professional MLS debut on March 24, 2018, against the New York Red Bulls. Spent loan stints gaining valuable experience with the Tulsa Roughnecks (USL) and Forward Madison FC (USL League One). He became a reliable rotation center-back and starting contributor over five seasons, making 60 MLS appearances for the Chicago Fire and scoring his first career MLS goal. He Joined the New England Revolution for the 2025 season, making 7 appearances on the backline before concluding his professional career.
